GM is making the purchase of a 2011 Corvette even more exciting, as though signing your life away for a fantastic muscle car isn’t enough for you enthusiasts!  If you are interested in constructing your own Corvette engine, head on up to the Corvette plant.  If you purchase a Z06 or ZR1 model, you can pay $5,800 plus the cost of the Corvette itself to build the perfect engine for your ride!  This is certainly a program that sets buying a Corvette apart from other Chevy models, like the Bensenville Chevy Silverado.

If spending that much to make the perfect engine isn’t appealing to you, there is also the option of going to a driving school.  If you can afford the Corvette ZR1, the ZR1 driving school comes included in the price of that model.  It’s a two-day program where you can get all the inside scoop on driving a high performing vehicle.  You’ll of course be able to rev the ZR1′s engine as much as you want during this event.  If you don’t have a ZR1, you can still pay to attend the ZR1 Driving School.  Prices start at $2,995 and it’s open to the general public.

Another fun option that might not be a choice if you opt for the Bensenville Chevy Cruze, is Museum Delivery. For $490, you can take a long weekend and travel to Bowling Green, KY and pick up your Corvette from the National Corvette Museum. While down there, you’ll get an in-depth illustration of your Corvette’s features. Also, if you want your friends and family to see you pick up your new car, there’s a live web cam that’s on 24 hours a day.

Another cool option when you purchase your 2011 Corvette at the dealership is the Buyers’ Tour ($400).  The museum will track your model number, and when it goes on the assembly line, you can see it being constructed.  When you go to the Bowling Green plant, you’ll also get a tour of the facility.  Seeing your investment being built is a once in a lifetime event!
